Laolu Akande In this past three and a half years of the Buhari presidency, one, thankfully, has learnt, experienced and been part of quite a number of things. One of those things is the amount of dedication, the depth of patriotic zeal and sheer hard-work that is going on in this administration. I know the President’s determination to end grand corruption, not only by hisexemplary personal example, but by insisting on the proper processes and by empowering institutions. I know the level of intellectual exertions and sheer human rigour that the Vice President daily brings to his work. Even most, if not all Nigerians and close watchers of Nigerian events, have settled on the notion that not only are both gentlemen, honest people of integrity, but that they are also truly united
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party and other Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) have accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being the mastermind behind an alleged plot to remove the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen. Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and co-chairman of the APC Campaign Council, has disclosed that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), abandoned the state when he was approached over allocation of the state seized by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, when the duo were in power. Tinubu said this when he received Yoruba traditional rulers in Abuja, on Friday. Tinubu claimed that Atiku, who was the vice-president to former President Obasanjo, did nothing when N250million was reduced from the state’s allocation when he (Tinubu) was the governor of Lagos State. “Atiku was vice-president of this country when the local government allocation for Lagos State was seized. When we led a protest to Atiku then

Speaking on behalf of the group to newsmen in Yola on Friday, Tony Sudan Gompwel said he had also printed campaign materials and branded a vehicle towards actualising Sowore's presidential bid in 2019. "We're targeting one million votes for Sowore, and we're canvassing those votes on a wide range social media platforms,” he said. "We're developing the Sowore followership, using pyramid styled network of down-line supporters. "For instance, if I steer 50 people, I expect them to steer 50 each; and so the chain goes on till we are able to raise one million votes and even surpass it for Sowore.” Gompwel further said he had printe
